In my wings (only) I used braided sleeving, lighter than any alternative I
could find. A bit of a pain to feed wires through initially, but once I had
a pull through in place (nylon fishing line) it was easy enough as long as
there was a smooth transition from the puller to the start of the wire.

I've seen recommendations to tie your nylon fishing line to a cotton ball,
then use your vacuum to pull the cotton ball through the tube -- supposedly
easy.

The cheaper milky white polyethyene tubing from hardware store is
probably a better choice than cpvc. Many of us ran the wires up the
struts for the wing.

I ran a piece of 1/2" PEX (residential plastic water line) down each
wing supported at each rib with a homemade bracket and an adel clamp. I
ran them through the strut as well and protected them with corrugated
loom inside there. Leave some extra length especially once you're
inside the cockpit. The down side of the strut route for me was the
fact that I needed to get AOA, static, and pitot tubing back to the
center of the tailcone. Coming through with wires and stuff at the wing
root level would be easier if you have a similar situation.

As far as a fire hazard there's already a lot of nasty flamable stuff
in the cockpit (seats, interiors, gauge housings, etc). Enough that in
the event of a fire, that 12' long 1/2" tube probably won't be an issue.

I posted three pictures to area "106 - S/M Wings."

The first picture (MurphyQuickbuild.jpg) is what happens to the standard way
the factory does the "wiring conduit" on their quick-build kits (at least on
one that I saw personally). Obviously, DON'T do it "their" way!

The second picture (WingWireConduit.jpg) shows the use of conduit in a wing.
Note that we used about a 1" long piece of nylaflow tubing slit lengthwise
to cushion the ziptie on the inner portion of the rib.

The third picture (WingWireStandoff.jpg) shows another approach to build a
stand-off on each rib and zip tie the standard "Murphy flex tubing" to the
stand-off.

While I have the utmost respect for Wayne, I humbly submit that if you have
a fire in the wing, the last thing to worry about is conduit burning up. By
then you are hooped.
