I think it is rather inappropriate of you to post the statement you did.
With all due respect, you subscribed to this list which is provided as a free service and which is hosted at the expense of one of our members and you feel it is necessary to criticize the host in this manner for unexpected glitches caused by upgrading the system.
The list host did not intentionally send to you personally all these messages and has already apologized for the inconvenience stating the probable causes.
I think you owe Mr. Mike Davis an apology and while I am at it I would like to thank Mike again for going to the trouble of hosting this list so that our members can share our common interests.
As for asking to be taken off the list, you should refer to the list archive page as Mr. Davis has provided a very simple, point and click method to unsubscribe.
