I could not find a pic for you but I don't think mine wrap all the way
around to join itself at the front. I think the forward ends may bend in
a bit but don't think they join. I could be wrong about that but it does
have a few #6 sheet metal screws into the ribs and has been fine for 410
hours.

Thanks, Ken. Looking at it a little more closely, I can see how the
design might benefit from two pieces actually -- a separate shorter
one around the leading edge. Besides, if two screws are OK, would
could possibly be wrong with four? ;-)

I don't remember it ever happening before [Ed.: major denial] but I
may be over thinking this a bit.

Hi Ron !

I've posted a pic to 204.R Rebel Flapperons.

It's .025, and does NOT go around the leading edge ...
pic doesn't show clearly - I'll do another if I remember ...

The bottom and top stop about the same distance back,
(actually, the top does wrap over a bit more ...)
but the bottom has a finger in the middle which extends forward
and up, through the gap, and rivets to the top of the seal
in the center. This smooths airflow, which otherwise would
be going into a pocket at the back ....
