Hi Jerry,
I'm a little different to you but, FWIW I'm using an MGL Voyager in
Rebel 818 which won't have an auto pilot but does have an artificial
horizon sensor. I've just made a "shelf" below the cabin roof in the higher
area a little forward of the passengers head. It is fixed to the lower
flange of a bulkhead, extends horizontally far enough to contain the sensor
and is folded up with a flange to rivet to the underside of the roof skin.
I'll let you know how it works next year. There is plenty of clearance from
passengers heads in the Rebel at least and the length and weight of cable
is minimized.
Cheers Mike

I'm planning on a single axis auto-pilot, a Tru-Trak EFIS GP with autopilot,
and am interested in where some of you may have placed your roll servos.
I'm working on the wings now and it would be convenient to put it in now.
