I have my floor extended to the back. I have my ELT and survival kit stuffed
in back there, so makes it a little easier to crawl in there if I need to.
Speaking of batteries, I still have my 13 pound Odyssey PC625 (on firewall
forward) for 10+ years now. I thought I detected the prop turning a little
slower a couple times this winter when starting, so I went out and bought a
new one (higher loonie helped make that decision). But now it is still
turning strong, so might hold off replacing it just yet. I have a hard time
throwing out a good battery... But just goes to show how good these
batteries are. I even ran it dead a couple times, a few years back, when I
forgot to shut off the master. But it always revived quickly with a short
charge, and not the worse for wear.

Is there any advantage? No not that I know of but I was expecting to be
a bit nose heavy and I was going to put gussets at the channel to
bulkhead joints anyway. Perhaps it might help confine any hard landing
damage to aft of bulkhead E but ??
Considerations? Will it make it easier or more difficult to install
elevator cable pulleys or an ELT? It might save some head scratching to
not rivet it until mounting those items.
I don't think anyone puts the battery that far back. In a couple of
years small light lithium batteries may be the norm on the firewall
anyway. They are available now but not proven or cost effective yet IMO.
