[rebel-builders] Old va. new part numbers

Hi Roland I was sent a second control horn for #247 and used it. MAM did make upgrades to the kit over the years and replaced some parts at their expense while charging for other upgrades.

Subject: [rebel-builders] Old va. new part numbers
As I build kit #56 I sometimes come across two somewhat similar parts with
somewhat similar part numbers. For example I have two control horns somewhat
similar in design and shape one labeled CC 47 and the other labeled CC 47-1
or CC 47-2. My initial thought is that these are two completely different
parts, but in going through the plans I only see one such part.. the new
plans (2000+) with the label CC 47-2 and the older plans (post 1998) with
the label CC 47.
My questions are:
1. Has anyone else come across this, and which part did you use?
2. Am I correct in assuming that the newer part is an improvement on the
older one, and if so I should be using that one.
Once again I feel like I am building a 55, 56, 57 Chevy (aka, One Piece at a
Time, old John Cash song).
