protection foil

Hello,

I've just finished the roof plate but there are difficulties with the removal of
the protection foil. The foil is on the sheet for almost 15 years now.

I have tried paint remover, a paint stripper and several chemicals without
result.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Canadian Tire sells a miniature household steam wand called the Steam
Shark. It works very well for getting the foil warm and soft enough so it
peels off in one piece.
