[rebel-builders] Gord Mohr's Bushings - Bolt ?

Nytrol has worked just fine over time... but MDRA won't pass it. You have to
have castle nuts and cotter pins on all landing gear "pivot"points to pass
inspection

Logic tells me that there should be a castle nut that goes on the bolt
through Gord's landing gear bushing, but the plans call out for a fibre
nut.
Is that correct? Is there anywhere else that the group recommends putting
on
a castle nut and pin instead of what the plans call for?

All the landing gear pivot points need castle nuts. I had to change mine to pass inspection.

Thanks Mike... Jen's out of chemo #8 and heading for a full week long chemo
#9 on the 9th of May. So she has #9 and #10 to go and then surgery in late
June to remove her entire right pelvic bone, 1/2 her sacrum. Nothing gets
put back and it's expected of scar tissue and existing muscles to hold her
leg on and make it work. Gonna be a long road..... especially for someone as
sports oriented as she is.

Hello Wayne
It looks like I'm going to have to change my tail pipe hanger, oops didn t see that pic till you pointed it out.Do you know the proper tension on the bolts and springs for the ball joint.Should it be none moveable or slightly moveable?
Good health to Jennifer,I'm sure all will work out well.
