[rebel-builders] Stewart Systems Paint

Post by Mike Davis » Sun Feb 19, 2012 8:42 pm

Happens every year as Sun N Fun kicks off, and will likely remain quieter
than normal until after Airventure.

Man, this list is very quiet! I hope it's because everyone's either flying
or building.

I bit of info I just learned regarding the Stewart Systems paint, which I am
very impressed with, BTW. Apparently their paint and all catylized paints
will bond to plastic as they are curing. I'm sure you can figure out why I
know this. So, if you use it, mask with paper and also don't cover your
freshly painted two days earlier wings with a pice of plastic to protect
them from overspray. The two will mate! It makes a cloudy place on the
paint and I'm not sure if it can be buffed out or not. Happy
