It is nice and hopefully they offer similar fairings in different sizes

Update: I just noticed on Eric's site a very nice trim fairing (which I'm
hoping
is off someone's shelf somewhere).

Here's a shot from Eric's website...

Anyone know where to get this?

Thanks for looking at the site. I used the same fairings for the rudder
cable exit as well. They are from Aircraft Spruce. ABS plastic so you can
paint them. I will look up the part number...

Here is the Aircraft Spruce part:

http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/a ... irings.php

It is under Control Cable Fairings.

Cost is $4.35 and you get a pair. So, price is right...

[rebel-builders] Elevator trim fairing (was Elevator - SR)

Thanks Eric...your site is one of those I go to to see what's possible...then I
go off and try for 70% of that....:)

It's both frustrating and embarrassing to think ACS had these all along....so I
went back and searched 'fairing'.....and sure enough these particular fairings
did not show up. Whew...I'm not crazy (at least not today).

Punch in 'fairings' however...and there they are....#4. Talk about flawed
search engines......Now, what other goodies are buried in that catalog?

[rebel-builders] Elevator trim fairing (was Elevator - SR)

I have complained about ACS's search engine to them for years. In addition
to singular/plural issues, lots of things are indexed only under descriptive
adjectives, but not the nouns, etc. The hard copy print catalog index is
almost as bad.

These squawks fall on deaf ears there it seems and no wonder, I suppose,
because I keep buying stuff from them anyway. Oh well.

Don't any of you keep a paper copy of the ACS catalogue beside the throne in
the think room??
