Jesse, I fly an ultralight Drifter and hope to test fly 818R come the time.
I'll be very nervous, and hopefully very careful, and have some options for
the airstrip I use.
I think we come at this from different ends, but if you can fly a DC3
and see the difference between it and the Rebel, and carefully choose your
strip and weather you should be fine.
I expect to find differences in acceleration and deceleration due to
weight differences, and you will see more I imagine.
You must be used to many more instruments on the panel than I!
