Hi Bob,

I met Jim Campbell at the Kitfox fly in this fall. He was a quest speaker and
a man full of many adventures, experiences and the stories to go along with
it. He flew the pants off my Kitfox and even managed to make me nervous in
the process. He is a very accomplished test pilot, having to bail out of many
a disaster. Not to mention great company. Everyone should do there self a
treat and check out his web magazine.

Hi Bruce !

I had a chance to fly with "Captain Zoom" in 1991, in
Winterhaven, FL, as he was doing a flight review in Rebel #001.
I too was <very> impressed with his abilities as a pilot !
He picked up the tricks of the aircraft very quickly, and did
a couple of very nice landings, the last one being a 'wheel' landing.
He then wrote a very favourable review of the Rebel ! :-) :-)

He is also a very interesting writer, and his newspage is
a good source of recent aviation news. I agree - everyone should at
least check out : http://www.aero-news.net/

There has been much controversy over Jim's personal life and
conflicts - no matter what your opinion is there, he <IS> still a
great writer, and I enjoy a good read !!
