I enjoyed your HD videos from this past summer. These little video cameras
are tremendous fun. Sometimes useful. And a wonderful waste of time.
This latest little camera came with a water-proof housing. I'm thinking
about putting it in the wheel well of the floats and watch the chaos that
goes on during water takeoffs and landings.
Tons of fun.

I posted a one minute stop-action movie on YouTube showing the process of
removing the 1800 amphib floats and putting the gear on. This process
takes
about a day for me working pretty casually. As you can see, I hang the
airplane using chain hoists from the front wing attach points up to the
hangar roof. Prior to this, I unhook hydraulic lines and cables. This is
the
only thing that takes any real time. The actual swap out is quick.

Enjoy.
