What's next? ..Super Rebel construction order

Post by Jason Beall » Sun Feb 19, 2012 8:07 pm

Ok Guys,

I have a question about construction order...

I have my rudder pedals installed, control column and sticks installed, aileron cables run up to roof and attached, my two aileron torque tobes are installed in the roof and the links from the horns to the aileron slider assembly are in. Floor has been drilled as well as seat rails, seats are built, doors etc built.

I'm space constrained right now with just enough space to TEMPORARILY install the rudder and the stal-elevator.

Where should I go now?

I'm thinking I will proceed as follows:

1) Run rudder cables
2) Run elevator cables
3) Install stabilizer and elevator and fit fiberglass fairing, but I'll then have to remove it all due to space issues in my garage
4) Run brake lines to base of gear legs (can't install gear legs because my garage isn't high enough)
5) Run as much of the fuel system in the floor and side as possible until I can fit the wings.
6) Start on the electrics and panel

Just looking for any feedback. I wanted to make sure I don't install something and then run into an access issue later. Anyone have an thoughts?

Thanks, -Jason
