Nice video Bob! 12 seconds for a glassy water takeoff is pretty impressive.
I like the way your vertical fin blends with the fuselage. Did you make
that fairing or is it an elite part? I've come to the conclusion that my
hard starting is because I didn't use heavy enough battery cable. I chose
#4 just because that was what was in my toyota without considering the
length of the cable.

[quote]Greetings All,
N567AK (Blue and White Murphy Elite on MFC 2200 Amphibs) has taken to the
water once again after a long year of shop work - seaplane doors, aileron
droop actuator, interior control cable guards, etc., etc.
Anyway, Go to www.youtube.com and do a search on "Lake Isabella Seaplane".
Battery was a bit weak for the Aerosport High Compression O-360 ... but
once it started rolling, it popped off like a champ. So ... think its time
for a new battery.
Cheers, Bob 612e
