That should do just fine without the flash tubes connected. I'd suggest
5 to 10 min on each voltage. I think my aeroflashes did not start
charging (humming) until getting 7 or 8 volts.

Hi All
I am ready to power up my Whelan Strobes for the first time and I recall
someone saying that they should be powered up gradually if the have been in
storage for a while.
I have a universal a/c adapter which puts out 6, 7.5, 9, and 12 volts DC up
to 2500 milliamps. I wonder if this would be sufficient to do the job.
Whelan told me that the lights do not have to be connected for this task..
What are your thoughts?
