Subject: [rebel-builders] Catto props

Hi guys, I'm contemplating a prop and right now I'm thinking of going with
a Catto. I looked on the archives and there is only a little information
there. Curt Martin has a 3 blade Catto that he loves. I wanted to go with
a 2 blade but not sure if I have enough ground clearance. Catto is
suggesting a diameter between 78"-82" and pitch from 42-46 (I have a 160hp
O-320). I don't quite have the engine hung yet to measure from prop flange
to the ground. I'm on 8.50 tires with Wayne's spring gear so I think I
should be OK with a 78" prop anyway. Can anyone provide some data points
on both prop clearance with longer props and or Catto props on a Rebel?
Thanks much.
Jesse
