[rebel-builders] Moose Tail whell

Hi Charlie: A similar case was with my Moose's tailwheel; now I have the
1-1/16" solid stinger, machined to give it flexibility, and is very strong.
Now that I've ordered an Alaskan Bushwheel, I'm contacting Wup to see if I
can solve the use of this stinger in lieu of the flat spring which is what
is normally used in this Alaskan Bushwheel. Thanks a lot, regards, Eduardo

After several incidents of tail wheel swivel failures, one involving actual
bending of the stinger, I replaced the original Murphy tail wheel with an
Alaskan Bush tail wheel. It required a "spacer" since their tail wheel is
drilled for the 11/16" spring and the original Murphy spring is 1" (Alaska
has the spacer, around $60). The bolt pattern and bolt size is also
slightly different and require re-drilling of the stinger, Thus far the new
tail wheel has performed excellent ,and the people at Alaska were #1 to deal
with (also cheaper than a Scott).
