Eduardo,

I also recommend that you order directly from AK Bushwheel.

A couple of key points that you need to know:

- If you have the solid Murphy stinger, it is 1 1/16" which is of course
1/16" larger diameter than the hollow, original Murphy stinger

- The 2-bolt attach pattern on both the original Murphy hollow round
stinger
and the newer solid stock round stinger are spaced 1 3/16"
center-to-center. The bolt pattern on the AK Bushwheel (and Scott and
every
other assembly by all other manufacturers) is spaced at 1 1/4"
center-to-center.

Eduardo.. I would cancel your order with Spruce and buy it and the

customer

ordering.

Hi Drew: I ordered the Alaskan Bushwheel Tailwheel, the one with the
10"
wheel, p/n 06-01149 from Aircraft Spruce,
http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/l ... lwheel.php My
only
doubt is whether the one inch "head spacer" p/n 06-01158 is suitable
to
install in the Murphy tail spring which is a solid 1" round steel stock
(works very well), considering the tailwheel head is made to hold a
flat
spring steel. I'm sort of confused with this issue, and if anyone could
give
me ideas who to look for advise, this would be great.
