Rebel fuel tank

I have a fuel tank leak on my Rebel that has been a real night mare. I took the bottom of the tank off and spent about a month cleaning this tank sloshing compound that was in it. I re- sealed it with Proseal put the bottom back on reached up through three inspection holes and brushed sealer on all the seams after the bottom was back on and it still leaks at the back edge.
Has any one built a tank that slid up in to the wing.
