HI ANDREW,
Thanks for the speedy reply.
Are you flying your bird from Table Rock Lake? That's where I bought my
PT-2A and that's where my "troubles" began.
I've always wanted to fly off the water....got a ride in a Beaver on floats
in California a few ywers back and "fell in love"!! I've been to Alaska
with a friend and just feel like a kid in a candy store.
I'll bet you know that there are not any lakes in Colorado that the FAA will
let floats on??!! Density altitude, area of water and recreational use all
say NO!!
For right now, I think I'll keep trying to find a Rebel with an O-235 and
bungee gear to fly because that's what I think I want to own.
If I can swing a buddy pass from my friend, I'll fly down to Springfield,
rent a car and come fly with you;................ or is there a better town
closer to you that United or United Express serves?
Would you please send me your phone number when you get a chance?
Thanks,
John Schneider

John
I live in western North Carolina near Asheville. I have a Rebel with an O
320 and would be happy to give you a chance to fly my Rebel.

HI ALL,
My first project "looked good" on paper, but I hate flying it ( Protec
PT-2A). I made the mistake of buying without ever flying one!!
I'm considering the Murphy Rebel as my next project and am looking for
someone who'd be willing to take me for a ride in a Rebel ( I'd love to
fly
one with an O-235 Lycoming engine).
I live near Denver and can fly wherever United Airlines goes.
Can you help me?
Thanks,
John Schneider
