If memory serves (and it doesn't always), I think Wayne suggested that the L
shaped clips used to fasten floor channels to each other or bulkheads, are
not necessary in the aft section. Leaving them out could save quite a bit of
time. Check the archives for this if interested.

Even though the manual says you can leave it out, I would not do that.
youpiece that comes with the kit is .020 and probably adds little more than a
few ounces, maybe a pound when you consider the rivets. For that weight
anyoneget some major stiffening/strengthening of that tail cone area. Plus, when
you have to get back there for something-and you will, you run the risk of
bending bulkheads or something else. My two cents. Craig
