NEW "Hybris" WORM VIRUS - this ones for real!

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN
If you receive mail with the subject " Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - The
real story" DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY! What ever you do, don't open the
attachment. If you do, like I did, it doesn't show you anything, but just
installs it's 24KB virus into your software!
It contains a file attachment sexy virgin.scr (OR numerous others listed
with symantec) and it is a W95.Hybris.gen WORM that will get into your
WSOCK32.DLL file and be sent out to everyone you send mail to, and it is
smart enough to send out it's own mail and get into zip files. More
information at
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/d ... s.gen.html
I wish these virus protection program manufactures would stop making new
virus's to help sell their products!
The little story I got with the e-mail that tempted me to open an unknow
(Hahaha@sexyfun.net) senders mail, thinking it was a joke card from a friend
through a site like Blue Mountain greeting cards site, was as follows:
Today, Snowhite was turning 18. The 7 dwarfs always where very educated and
polite with Snowhite. When they go out to work at mornign, they promised a
*huge* suprise. Snowhite was anxious. Suddenly, the door open, and the seven
dwards enter...
I run Norton Antivirus 2000 that I hadn't updated in about 60 days. Very
important to keep your softwate up to date almost daily due to this ungoing
"inconvience"!
Best Regards,
Wayne G. O'Shea
