[rebel-builders] windsield install

My channel goes all the way around. The channel does more than just support
vertical load. When carried all around, it makes layup of the fiberglass
retainer more uniform, and provides a uniform line between outside sealant
under the lower retainer flange and the topside sealant between the
windshield and retainer. The acrylic windshield moves quite a bit with
thermal expansion. Without rubber channel on the sides, the edge of the
acrylic will chafe against the fuselage metal there too, as it expands and
contracts.
For more info, search my web site using "windshield" and "retainer" "rubber
channel"

hi guys
by the manual the windshield has a rubber u channel on the bottom to
protect it.
my question is how far around the bottom have others installed this
rubber, for example on where it sits on top dash, or all the way around
the bottom edge of windshiled so the windshield does not touch fuselage
anywhere
cheers
