Mixer arm travel 818R

Hi all, hope you have all recovered from Oshkosh by now. I hope to visit
before I die.
I intend to have two reflex flap positions on 818R and am working on
the mixer arm/control column area but not wanting to drill too many holes
just yet. Can anyone tell me whether the extra reflex position is possible
with the standard length mixer arm retainer, or does it need to be a bit
longer to give more mixer arm travel? And do you use the standard flap
lever quadrant with an extra hole or does that need changing?
Hoping to fly by Xmas.................which Xmas?
