The windshield moves enough that I'd want something under it to prevent
it cutting into the glareshield. If need be maybe you can trim the
bottom of the windshield to make room for some rubber. Some folks
including me found that rain water comes in the bottom of the windshield
and drips on the radios unless you seal it with something. I ended up
applying some clear silicone after installation.

hi all

does the windshiel have to have a rubber moulding strip installed along
the bottom edge that sites on cabin dash, if so how far along botton
edged does it need to go, assum only where windshield sits on metal

i ask cause when i made my fiberflass retainer i did not have the
rubber, now i have it and the windshield does not fit right with the
rubber installed, figures eh

i am thinking of just using some 1/8 or less thick rubber on cabin dash
for a bumper for the windshield to sit on instead of the rubber moulding

also does nothing go under the fiberglass retainer to stop wind or rain
from getting into the cabin

cheers
