[rebel-builders] wings

Jim,
I had similar problem with some of the plastic on mine. It sat for 15 years in someones garage before I bought it
Tedious work removing it but the sooner removed the better. Acetone seems to work well to remove any residue. I just attached my wings last week. Wings are nice to build, have fun....

Just getting going on the wings on 705R. Don't know how old the plastic wrap is on them but found some of it was just about ready to fall off while some of it was a bear to peal back. Sometimes leaving an anoying sticky residue behind that even MEK wouldnt take off. Very frustrating! Found that a little heat from a hairdryer not only made the plastic easier to peel but it never left the sticky residue behind either. Just a hint for anyone else having problems with the plastic.
Wings are going together quicker than I would have thought and I am going to order the Pro Seal on Monday because we will need it soon.
