[rebel-builders] oil lines

Mike,

It mostly boils down to money. It's way cheaper to do them yourself. Watch
out for the 1/2" lines, though. I found that I needed to back the mandrel
out when about 3/4 of the way in for more lube. Those fittings are way too
pricey to ruin by stripping threads. Craig

Subject: [rebel-builders] oil lines

hi all

time to get oil lines, i see in my eaa magazine to use aeroquip 601, and
they show in detail how to assemble it, i used this hose and article to
do my fuel lines, the fuel lines have no pressure however,

my questions is should i make these myself or have a shop do it, they
are easy to make and if i do myself i save the hassle of trying to get
exact lengths cut that will fit and maybe save some money for labour

cheers
