First amphib flight

Thank you to all the guys who forwarded their weight figures. It was
appreciated.

Had some fun splash'in about this morning.

3.5* throat is looking good so far. (Well after I motor boated around
the lake on the step to get used to the nose so high). It breaks the
water around 41 knots. Takeoff distance seemed pretty good but I did
have at least 5 knots of wind.

Climb at close to gross was 570 fpm which corrects to about double the
minimum required.

Now we're having fun :)

Congrats on the floats. What RPM are you using for take off and climb?
