[rebel-builders] Up to date builders manual needed

Roland,

I purchased my kit 175r in '06 after years of sitting in a garage partially started. I got the new manual and CD at that time from MAM. Let me know if I can help out.

Also I have some questions regarding the doublers / stiffeners for putting the Rebel on floats. Have the fuselage complete to the firewall and the rear float attach points are in, just completed rear wing attach bracket installation. Also made the float fix doublers near the wing attach points. I have seen some of the builders pictures with a big doubler on the firewall, what is the problem with that area? Is there any stiffening needed around the upper or lower motor mount brackets? It seems a little flimsy there to me. Thanks in advance for any assistance...

Looking for a copy of an up to date builders manual. Tried Jeff at MAM a few
times without success. Seems the copies I was given from the previous
builder are not complete. I have found the odd missing page. Would like to
have the complete set.

Will gladly pay copy and shipping, if anyone can help me out.

BTW... just starting fus cage. Starting to look like and airplane.

[rebel-builders] Up to date builders manual needed

Thanks Curtis, you can reach me offline at Kriening@rogers.com

In the mean time, if anyone can fax me a few pages to keep going I would
greatly appreciate it. I am trying to put in 3-4 hours a day to get the
plane on the gear by summer. At this point I have to stop as I am not sure
what comes next.

My fuselage assembly section (12.0) ends on page 60, with figure 12.10.6
root rib attaching to Fus 24. I am pretty sure this cannot be the end of
this section, as the next section (13.0) starts with the dash install.

Not sure how many pages I am missing, but if anyone could fax them to me I
could keep going until I get the full set of plans. My fax number is
226-663-3287. (London, Ontario, Canada)

[rebel-builders] Up to date builders manual needed

Thanks Curtis,

What would we do without the dedicated builders on this site. Thanks to all
that replied to my request. I definitely could not continue the build
without this site and the expertise/suggestions you all provide. Sent
another request in to MAM for a manual. We will see.

Thanks again to all,

Roland
