That'll teach you Mike! I figure if your going to buy an envelope and a
stamp, you might as well put something worth while inside it!! (BTW, did you
get my envelope yet?)

I had also presumed that the list members would fill out the SR3500 order
with, and send all the money to, Bob Patterson so he could get a Christmas
present also! Can't blame a guy for dreaming now can you???????

Have a great Christmas.

Wayne

Geert is referring to the first push-pull tube coming off the control
column. MAM has you leave one rod end loose with no lock nut, so the steel
rod end is turning back and forth in the aluminum end plug (when moving
the
stick for and aft). The "fix" for this is to take 2 small slices (about
3/16" to a 1/4" long) of 5/16 O.D. x 1/4 I.D tube and put one above and
below the rod end ball at the bellcrank end. This will allow the rod end
to
swivel further without bottoming on the bellcrank or retainer washer, and
will also allow you to lock the other rod end with a nut. Not a PANIC item
for those that are flying, but it would be better to do it sooner than
tooooo much later!

Now as for that large Christmas Present Captain Geert proposed!!! Being
the
pain I am to buy for at Christmas, the "wish" list I gave my wife lists a
Harvard (or a T-6) and a Spartan Executive, although I would be happy with
a
firewall rearward kit for the SR3500 with extended fuel tanks. That's only
$26,995 + $170 for the extended tanks = $27,165 U.S divided by 169 list
members = only $160.74 U.S each!!!!!! Not a bad deal aye, and then I'll be
able to help the guys/gals building those too!!!!!!!!

I"M JUST KIDDING GUYS AND GALS! REALLY I AM!!!!!!

Blue skies,
Wayne G. O'Shea

Christmas Present

Yes sir, and thank you very much. I've sent individual e-mails to most of
the people I've received contributions from, but I haven't been able to
match an e-mail address to everyone, so let me just list here everyone who
has contributed, and thank you all again. I've received $282 so far, so it
looks like everything will be covered.

I apologize if I've misspelled anybody's name. I have received the software
update, and have it installed now on a new system at home. I'm still
working on the basic configuration... once I have it working satisfactorily
I'll ship it down to Charlotte, then I'll start moving the content over. I
will not be shutting the old system down until the new system is fully
functional. There is no deadline this time around where my old system is
just going to be turned off, so I anticipate no interruptions. I'll let you
know more as things progress.

Thanks again, Mike

Hi Wayne !

Thanks for trying to send a little business my way !

Somehow, I think you might have a bit of a wait to get this wish ....

But we wish you good luck !! (This could replace all the
spam email chain letters if it works !! ;-) :-) )
