more push pull rod

Hi again, this is maybe not a panic issue, but needs more input. Wayne
correctly further identified that short push pull tube. I think it should
be added that both back and forth movement as well as left right movement of
the control stick effects this tube. I still do have two jam nuts ONE ON
EACH END of the (short) tube. They are both loose and the one closest to the
bellcrank even moved away some distance( 1/4 of an inch) from its original
position and it allows the threaded inner portion of the tube end, CC-29,
achorn or whatever you want to call it, to rotate around the threads of the
rod end bearing assy, HM-4M. I called that "working". This is NOT correct.
But I looked at it while moving the control stick and that is what it is
doing. PERIOD. This needs to be fixed. By the way in order to accommodate
those two spacers or special washers Wayne tells us to insert, I believe you
need a longer AN-4 drilled bolt. The bolt is the one through the first
bellcrank of course and has to be removed so you can place those spacers or
washers. While we are in this area. That first bellcrank, has two legs, one
long, one short. In my then manual (1994) there were contradictory sketches,
one showed the SHORT leg pointing to the left, the other had the LONG leg
pointing to the left. The other leg points forward. I forgot how I
resolved this, but my ailerons still are not working like they should. Which
is the correct way for this bellcrank, marked CC-47-1, to be installed? I
better get all the same answers! Ha! Geert.
