fin offset one more

Hi, ref. Scott Hibbs situation. I too halved what the factory recommended
for offset and maybe I should have put the fin at zero offset. One point I
didn't see mentioned is WHICH WAY! I had to go the opposite way on my offset
because of the rotation of the Subaru Legacy installed Warp-Drive, does not
the same apply to your Czech engine ?? Just thought I'd ask. Had a fellow
builder visit here yesterday. It should be made mandatory to have another
guy look over your "project", which has been flying for almost four years in
my case! He found that short piece of rod and fittings "working" on the
threads closest to the first bellcrank. He even showed me a bulletin of
sorts dated Jan.28 of this year( coming from: who else? Mr. Wayne. We ought
to start doing this guy a large Christmas present!). I did not have a clue
this problem existed. Anything connected with this very important item in
the of all things flight control system will of course get immediate
attention. I probably should be embarrassed of not having caught this
"bulletin" myself, but I am too old to worry about a little egg on my face.
Regards, Geert Frank.
