I happen to find an old Kitplanes magizine from August 1994. It had been in
my father-in-laws stuff, as there is in that issue a small picture of my
Zenith CH-300.
Looking at the issue I see that there is a story in there about building a
Murphy Rebel. The builder was listed as Kent Van der Velde. I have scanned
the story, and will send a copy of it off list to anyone who requests it.
There are a few interesting comments in the story.

The FAA data base says that the registration was surrended in 2004. The
reason listed was aircraft distroyed.

There is no listing of an accident in the NTSB reports under N35PM. So it
could have been distroyed in a wind storm, or maybe someone forgot to report
an accident.

Anybody know about this aircraft?

If you want a copy of the story (7 seperate emails), let me know.
