Flaperon torque tube hanger

My plane recently suffered wind damage to the torque tube hanger. The
single channel between bulkheads broke, pushing the roof attach through the
roof skin. I am planning to repair it using the newer, 2-channel support.
Thinking of still using the roof support(after patching the roof in and out),
and perhaps adding an angle support to the outboard wing rib. Any better
ideas?
