Sounds like you have a newer Dynon unit. I have the D100 and placed the
static port about halfway down the tail. I read the many notes in the
archives about places that it didn't work very well, but I am really pleased
with my location on the Elite. I thought a lot about where to put it and got
lucky (based on GPS cross checking of airspeed).

Here is a link to my website-in-progress showing the location. You should be
able to determine a similar bulkhead based on the location of the rear
elevator pulley in the picture.

Thanks, Eric. Why did you put yours in that location and not up front as
most do? Yes, I have the skyview and the magnetometer (ADHAR) unit can't be
installed behind the panel.

I read in the archives that others have had static side errors when locating
up front that affect airspeed accuracy.

I'm interested in the dynon d100 and wanted to see what you had done but could not get onto your web site any clues? also I was on youtube and noticed you flap controls. how did you manage those I like em.

Just as David said, long web addresses wrap and are sometimes cut off.
Follow his steps for rebuilding the link.

This shorter one may work:

You will need to go to the "Panel and Avionics" section and hunt for the
picture of the static port.

The website is not finished and is missing sections like Fuselage.

Now I have more motivation to get the rest of the pictures online. I used so
many others' websites to help me in my building; I'd like to add to the pool
of images.

I'll get to that soon, but even now, there are plenty of images.

I'm on your site right now, Eric. These are great pictures. You do nice
work! I wish I'd seen them sooner. I wonder how many others are out there
waiting to be found? BTW, I did find the static location photo. I think I
will probably give that a go.
