[rebel-builders] Pitot tube on a SR 2500

Most pitot tubes I've seen on Moose are near the joint of wing/wingtip and
on the L wing.

Can any one give me suggestions as to placement on the wing for the pitot
tube?
How far out, how far back, as well as any other information in this area.
This is for a SR 2500.
Thanks
William Taft

[rebel-builders] Pitot tube on a SR 2500

Mine is placed in the same wing bay as the aileron push / pull tube, a few
inches inboard of the access hole in the bottom of the leading edge skin. I
added a doubler on the inside installed with flush rivets. Mine is the new
Dynon heated AOA Probe. Static ports are located between fire wall and
front door posts.
