Wayne, Bob, Brian, anyone,

I probably already ask you this once, but I can't remember. The fiberglass
cowling; how thick is the spacer for the prop and is it more than the
standard cowl spacer? I would like to keep the prop as close to CG as
possible.

Bruce,

If using the fiberglass speed cowl you need a 1 1/2" spacer minimum and MAM
suggests a 2", (if using the aluminum 13" "speed" spinner with it's 1 1/8"
wide rear bulkhead lip). The bulkhead lip can be trimmed down to 3/4" wide,
if you need a little more clearance.

The original "Piper"nose bowl and aluminum doors does not need a prop spacer
at all, if using a 10" spinner.

Hi Bruce

The spacer for the speed cowling is 2". For the regular cowling I don't
believe there is any spacer. I agree, especially with the metal prop, you
don't want that prop out any further than necessary.

Hi all



Does the rebel with 0-320 require a spacer to put spinner and prop clear of
the nose bowl, how much of a spacer is needed

Is it possible to push cowl and nose bowl back far enough so a space is not
needed
