Angle of incidence 818R

Hi all,
I've been wondering why the 320 Elite cruises faster than the 320
Rebel...... if it does. I've just re-read Darryls letter on the net about
moving the firewall back 3" where he says the angle of incidence of the
Rebel is greater than the Elite because the Elite is expected to cruise
faster than the Rebel because the 360 can be fitted.
I'm building a 320 Rebel and am thinking my cruise might increase if I
use the Elite a of incidence.
Can anyone advise me of the angles of incidence of both planes? And
has anyone made a comparison?
Thanks and Cheers Mike

Thanks Ken and Walter for your input. I'll do some searches in the archives
re float stuff and stabilizers. Speaking of fairings, has anyone come up
with anything to fair the stabilizer strut/tailspring area of the Rebel? It
looks a bit draggy to me, and a bit complicated. Or doesn't it matter? Or
do I just fit a bigger engine Walter?
Cheers and thanks Mike
