Mike
I have to admire & complement you on your initiative and inventiveness on setting up the
bookstore, another case of giving more than you get (to host the site!).
Well done & thanks again

--Again Geert, sorry for the inconvenience... the "system error" took out
those pages... the contributors page is back, but I named it wrong... you
can get to it on the web site, but the link in the message tags is wrong...
the book store will take a bit longer. I had just set that up, so I had no
backup at all. Basically, it will have links to books available through
amazon.com that are of a subject nature that I thought would interest home
builders. Any purchases made via these links would earn a percentage of the
sales, which I then would use for this site.

appreciatedHi all! A few items: thanks first of all to the replies ref. my radiator
refill. Now fixed. Next, Mike what am I not understanding? I hit the (new)
"contributors page" and "bookstore page" and all I get is "unable to find
page" or "page not found". I am of course still getting the muchdolistserver on a daily basis.
Dave Ricker, sorry I did not react sooner, but I have had those Spruce
gauges in my Rebel since 1996 and I cut the rod very short because I was
afraid the first baffle(rib) in the fueltank was going to interfere or may
have left the gauge unworkable if left uncut. Knock on wood, still works
great. Yes, you have to cut a hole in the left and right fuselage rootrib
(not a structural area) to see the gauges mounted into the wing rootrib or
tank rh rib of course. But they are clearly visible and the only thing Imaterialremember is that my sheetmetal helper did have to cut some specialnutplatesto make a totally leakproof gasket and used those special (sealed)wood,to install the gauge with its four mounting screws. Again knocking onnutplatesnot a drop of leaking fuel from this area and very accurate. Thesethemare used specifically in fueltank areas and apparently are leakproof. They
look like any regular nutplate, except they are goldcolored and have a
little dome and a rubber gasket on the inside end. Bobp had to stare atSouthernwhen he ferried my machine from Atlanta to here in New Hampshire. Which
brings up my final remark. Richard DeCiero you can let me know via my own
e.mail address where in Mass you are , with a phone number, I am in*---------------------------------------------------------------------------New Hampshire (near Amesbury, MA) if you want to have a peek at my flying
Rebel (083R). Geert Frank
