Prop maintenance.
I just finished watching a very good series of videos on prop maintenance
which comes from the AOPA web page AOPA_ePilot@aopa.org I hope they do not
object to this being forwarded.

As an A/P with I/A endorsement, I find this reinforces the need for doing
the detailed inspections on prop's. At pre-flight & during inspections, In
some cases sending them off for extensive rework at an approved propeller
repair shop.

In the past I have heard that a missing 6" piece of one blade at high RPM
can tear an engine out of the engine mount before the pilot has a chance to
react by pulling the throttle back to idle. I don't want to be the one to
prove that theory!

Please take the time to check out these videos, it is good information for
all pilots, builders and mechanics.
