Well the subject has come up about things to loose sleep over think
about this. The rod that connects your movement from the control stick
to the aileron bell crank , the rod end is screwed in to an aluminum
boss and allowed to rotate back and forth as you move the control
forward and backward ,how long do you thick it will take before it
wares the aluminum thread out , being an aircraft machinist and spent
a long time repairing such things I thought that I would put this to
you and maybe you will keep a close eye on it !. I did not use this
method on my plane .

Dennis,

The p/p tube coming out of the control column is only tightened at one end,
therefore I don't see how the thread will strip from movement fore and aft.

But I'm open to ideas of others and would like to see your installation
pictures.

Thanks for bringing this to the table.

Cheers,
Jeff
