Well the subject has come up about things to loose sleep over think
about this. The rod that connects your movement from the control stick
to the aileron bell crank , the rod end is screwed in to an aluminum
boss and allowed to rotate back and forth as you move the control
forward and backward ,how long do you thick it will take before it
wares the aluminum thread out , being an aircraft machinist and spent
a long time repairing such things I thought that I would put this to
you and maybe you will keep a close eye on it !. I did not use this
method on my plane .

Dennis, Make two small bushing to go on either side of the rod end ball that
bolts to the bellcrank and use a longer bolt. They don't have to be very big,
just enough to allow the rod end to rotate on the ball when the locking nut is
tight on the rod threads.
