ms24540 angle

would anyone be able to tell me if it would be OK to substitute the ms
24540 angle supplied with the floats with extruded angle.It is for all
the skin stiffeners and the attach angles for the spray rails.Is it
all 6061 T6 alum.?There was enough in the kit for the chines but not
much more.Any help here would be appreciated.
