[rebel-builders] Pulley bracket - rear fuselage

Post by Drew Dalgleish » Sun Feb 19, 2012 5:54 pm

I believe that the brackets I got from MAM are .032 and no doublers
required. After you get the brackets built you need to assemble them with
the pulleys and drill a hole through both that just clears the pulley so
that when everythings done you can install a cotter pin that will prevent
the cables from ever jumping out of their grooves.

I have to manufacture a couple of pulley mounting brackets - the ones that
attach to bulkhead and floor near the rear of the plane. I believe it is
bulkhead "D". What material thickness should I use? Also, on the plans it
shows the brackets riveted to both the bulkhead and the bottom fus skin. Is
there a doubler that goes on the bottom skin as well? If so, what thickness
again?
