I would try to put it in a position that would allow you to easily route the fuel lines through the engine compartment.
Remember to keep the fuel line away from any major hot spots.
I have a couple pictures of my installation if you would like me to mail them to you directly.

Hi Gang, I am at the "fitting of the forward floor" portion of my fuselage and in reviewing the manual, I can not find any reference to placement of the fuel lines. Are there any published ideas or is this left up to the creativity of the builder. I also have the "firewall forward package" which does not make any suggestions either. Your comments and suggestions are most welcome.(as always)-Bob J.

I'm in the exact same situation.. The Super Rebel manual doesn't mention anything at all about the fuel lines.. I asked the factory about it in person one day, and didn't get much of an answer.. I was hoping that they were just working on that part of the manual, and I would get a copy of it soon enough, but that was about a year ago..
Ditto for the brake lines too..
Please send the photos to me to, or post them to the Builders Website for everyone..

Have you poked around the MAM site. There used to be an upgrade bulletin
and diagram about routing the fuel lines through the cabin and up to the
firewall.

Graeme,

would you mind emailing me directly, legeorgen@cs.com, your fuel line
photos? When you take them. Thanks.

G'day Rick

I would appreciate it if you would also email me the 'photos of your fuel lines.

I am also at a loss to understand just how they are connected to the wing and then routed through the fuselage.

Where did you run them under the floor?

Hallo from downunder (New Zealand), this is our first attempt to
contribute, but we follow it reguarly for information. So here goes: I
have just completed fitting the fuel lines in our Rebel R647. I have
recieved some information from Grant at MAM which was useful. We have
run the line in a gentle curve down the bulkhead one back from the rear
door post, through under the floor to a junction in the middle of the
fuse were we have two T's. One to connect the left and right fuel line,
directly in front of which we have the second T, out of the bottom of
which we have the fuel drain. It is important to bring the fuel line's
straight across the fuse to ensure that this drain is at the lowest
point, when the aircraft is sitting on the ground. I have then continued
the fuel line under the floor along the centre of the fuse and come up
at the rear carry through under the controls to the fire wall. I will
try and send you a couple of photos in a second e-mail. Just remember
this is only my selected option for what it is worth (first time
builder).
Regards
Graeme
