Bernard...I agree with Walter. I have a Rebel on 1800 amphibs with an 0-320
and a Sensenich 74x53 ( just had the prop shop twist a 56 to 53) I get great off the water
performance and cruise 90 kts @ 7.8 gph or 100 kts @ 9.0 gph. Put a JPI fuel flow in
coupled to a Garmin 496 so I know exactly how much fuel I have when in the "bush" in
NW Quebec. I just love the Rebel, best A/C I have ever owned ( of 10). You will
enjoy your bird, I am sure. Bob Cressman 331R

Bernard, if it is Sensenich, get the 74 X 54 two blade metal prop. Both the 150
hp and the 160 hp 320 Lycomings perform best with this prop when on amphibs. Do
not get the 74 X 56 inch pitch prop as there is a big loss of performance
compared to the 54 pitch. Your take-off, climb and top speeds will be better
with the 54. And there will be no loss in cruise (just slightly rpm) or fuel
efficiency.

I know this from many hours of flying side by side with other planes with these
different props, so this is from real life experience, not theory.

thank you Jeff,
I read with pleasure what you've written, especially since it's
rather good
news.
Can you tell me what propeller should be better for an
amphibious Elite, I
think a senssenich, but for which O 320 A2B
