Hi Cris !

A better solution for grab handles is a trip to the hardware store
for sturdy metal drawer pulls. These are riveted ovehead on the
cross tube of the cage. Pretty common these days. V-tubes would
be too far forward to be useful for grabbing.

V-braces - essential for Cessnas .... NOT for Rebels ! Maybe
good if you are going to do a LOT of float flying, but haven't proven
vital for those with the lower panel channel. It's an homebuilt,
do what you want - but don't add weight unless it's essential ...
Just MHO ...

The V- bracing structure behind the windshield sounds like a good idea
For those of us who have NOT installed our windshield yet, It would be
relatively easy. It would seem to add a great deal of rigidity between
the cabin and the firewall. It might also act as a "grab" handle to ease
entry in and out of the cabin. The only downside I see is a slight amount
of lost visibility. Cris
