Float rigging wire

I'm curious whether MAM shipped 1x19 wires to anyone for the cross
bracing cables on the floats. It is about 40% stronger in 5/32" diameter
than 7x19 and it happens to be of similar strength to all the tangs and
AN5 bolts that it fastens to by my estimates.

I received 7x19 control cable for this with my kit and I have no reason
whatsoever to think it won't work just fine other than it seems odd that
it may not be as strong as the fittings and is a more expensive
material. Perhaps because it is easier to work with?
