landing gear length?

I got to ramblin on in my last post, as I'm prone to do! Thought I'd ask under
it's own subject: What do you think of increasing the length of the landing
gear a little bit, say 2"? This for bungee gear that I'm re-making anyway.
Will it ease landings, or not?
